The Gabaruk 10-46t makes no sense to me with it's 42-46t jump (9,5%) as a result of using the same cogs as the 10-48t and 10-50t cassettes. BTW this Sunrace also does this in a different form. It uses the same 10-28t cluster as the 10-42t variant. With the 10-46t you get a 28-34t jump (21,4%) which is a bit large.

SunRace uses a 7075 alloy for the larger 42 and 50t chainrings, then moves to steel for the smaller teeth. SunRace have also released an SRAM XD compatible 10-50t cassette with 500% range but undoubtedly the 11-50t version's trump card is that it's designed to work with a standard, Shimano type freehub.

I ride 1x with a 50t chainring and switch between 11-36 (SRAM PG-1170) and 11-40 (Shimano M8000) cassettes. I never use the 40t on the bigger cassette, but there's a jump in the middle of the 11-36 that I hate.

Replaced my Sunrace 11-50 with this. Took it out for a few miles and it shifts quieter and better than the Sunrace. The larger cogs have the HG+ shift ramps making the up and down shifts smooth. Shifting in the smaller cogs are more abrupt and you can hear and feel it clunk into place. I'm running a PC-X1 11spd chain.

The 9-speed Sprocket CS-HG50-9 for road bikes has a low side of 25T or 30T, but the CS-HG400 9S for MTB has a much wider lineup with a low side of 25T to 36T, and can handle cross ratios to wide ratios. Since the CS-HG400 9S can be used on the road, the choice would be CS-HG400 9S for wide ratio and CS-HG50-9 for cross ratio.
